📖 Music and giant puppets to inspire dreams
This staged concert blends gentle humour and visual poetry, weaving together Claude Debussy's Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun with Camille Saint-Saëns's renowned Carnival of the Animals. While a baby faun sleeps beside the piano, the stage comes alive with enchanting large-scale figures.
Directed by Enrique Lanz, whimsical puppets such as a lion, a giant turtle, a swan, a dinosaur, and even an elephant invite audiences to dream awake.
🏛️ Etcétera Company and ABAO Txiki
Produced by the acclaimed company Etcétera with support from the Junta de Andalucía, the production arrives on stage as part of ABAO Txiki's family programme at Teatro Arriaga.
ℹ️ Good to know: Recommended for ages 4 and up. Running time: 50 minutes.
