"La primera en morir" traces the one-way journey of a body moving through the codes of horror films. On stage, a performer obsessed with the genre sets out to star in her own terrifying story, acting as a medium who channels and embodies various haunting atmospheres and dark fantasies.

Spanning 40 minutes, the production shifts between cinematic clichés, tense moods, and deeply personal reveries to confront the unknown alongside the monsters that dwell within. The work features text, choreography, and performance by María Pizarro, with music by Irene Novoa, lighting by Emilio Manzano, and costume design by Betitxe Saitua.
