π Flamenco remix, global electronica, and political critique
"La voz de alarma" is an expanded project in which Los Voluble develop a live audiovisual show linking remix techniques, the construction of a new flamenco archive, and global electronic music. The piece offers an incisive reflection on urgent contemporary issues, from climate crisis and fake news to international conflict.
Flamenco serves here as a modern medium for social reflection and change, bringing past and present together into a unified critical audiovisual narrative. Wit and political commentary surface as strategies to hack digital algorithms and pose crucial questions about the society we inhabit.
ποΈ Movement, local residencies, and BAD Bilbao
Dance and physical movement are central to this work. Through creative residencies carried out prior to the performance, local artists record and share raw material that Los Voluble sample, manipulate, and remix live on stage.
BAD Bilbao thus highlights hybrid contemporary artistic formats in the historic, vibrant venue of Bilborock.
β¨ A powerful meeting of cutting-edge audiovisual art and sharp cultural critique.
