📖 A journey through the 19th and 20th centuries and the Max Reger challenge

The programme traces the evolution of organ music across the 19th and early 20th centuries. Through works by Felix Mendelssohn, Louis Vierne, Josef Rheinberger, and Fritz Kreisler, the concert explores various European schools and styles, highlighting diverse expressive aesthetics.

The performance culminates in the music of Max Reger, whose demanding and intricate writing represents a major technical and artistic trial for the young Musikene organists.

🎶 The Karl Schuke organ in the Auditorium

This event provides students with an exceptional pedagogical opportunity to perform on the grand stage of the Euskalduna Bilbao Auditorium. They will confront the acoustic scale of a premier venue and engage with the monumental Karl Schuke organ, featuring 5,390 pipes.

✨ An outstanding opportunity to discover the future generation of organists on a monumental instrument.
