📖 Vital reflections before the end

In Mi suicidio, a work originally titled El pesimismo alegre, Henri Roorda examines fundamental questions about love, society, work, and pleasure while preparing his departure. Far from suffering or despair, the author portrays himself as a dandy and a sensual man devoted to worldly pleasures, crafting a statement filled with sharp humor and profound sincerity.

🎭 Artistic team and production

Mario Gas takes the stage to revive the memory and principles of Roorda, directed and staged by Fernando Bernués. The creative team features translation by Miguel Rubio, dramaturgy by Bernués, Gas, and Vicky Peña, lighting design by Xabier Lozano, and costumes by Antonio Velart.

✨ An essential theatrical encounter with the thought and vital irony of Henri Roorda.
