📖 A musical journey through Brazilian songwriting
Salvador Sobral presents his new album, A flor do recomeço, his first full project dedicated entirely to songs by Brazilian composers. Recorded in São Paulo and produced by Marcus Preto and Tó Brandileone, the album includes unreleased tracks by celebrated figures such as Adriana Calcanhotto, Chico César, and Marcelo Camelo.
This concert reflects a deeply personal return to the musical roots that influenced Sobral from an early age. Rather than mimicking Brazilian styles, the singer approaches these compositions through his own Portuguese musical identity, preserving the unique essence of each piece with honesty and depth.
🎶 The artist and ensemble
Widely known for winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 2017, Sobral performs with an accomplished ensemble of musicians. On stage at Teatro Arriaga, he is joined by Katarina L´Dokova on piano, André Rosinha on double bass, Joel Silva on drums and percussion, Sebastiá Gris on guitars, and Eva Fernández on saxophone.
