📖 A reflection on fading aspirations

The piece addresses the disquiet of a generation trapped in a cycle of unaccomplished aspirations. Through a minimalist and highly symbolic staging, Pérez Fayos crafts an intimate portrait of young people navigating the gap between past promises and present reality.

With a single body controlling lighting, sound, text, movement, and set elements, the performance creates a poetic and introspective landscape depicting the quiet surrender to an uncertain future.

🎭 A multidisciplinary solo

Mauricio Pérez Fayos directs, choreographs, and performs this work, also designing the soundscape, lighting, and stage setup. The production features costumes made by Marina Mínguez, photography by Almudena Soullard and Carme Ripollés, artistic accompaniment by Led Silhouette, La Basal, and Paula Serrano, mediation by Olga Hernández, and support from Graners de creació 23-25, Impuls a la Dansa 2024, and Ajuntament de València.
