📖 Sensory tales in the dark

What happens when darkness protects us? Do we feel fear, or do we discover new ways of perceiving our surroundings? "OSCURO – OSCURO" offers a storytelling session held in the dark to experience how shapes, objects, and emotions transform when we stop relying on sight and begin perceiving with our other senses.

Through the spoken word paired with songs, objects, images, and gentle sensory experiences, the stories come alive to touch on themes such as friendship, diversity, love, and curiosity.

This initiative revives the ancestral tradition of sharing stories by word of mouth, strengthening human bonds and fostering imagination from an early age. Azkuna Zentroa's Sala Bastida becomes a welcoming shelter to share tales that connect yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
