📖 A journey through the history of flamenco

With more than 60 performances across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, 'DUAL' brings together nearly 25 years of shared artistic journey and creative complicity. In this work, guitar and flamenco dance converse as equals in an intense and daring format.

The repertoire honors landmark compositions in Spanish music and flamenco history. The program includes the rondeña as conceived by Ramón Montoya, a striking seguiriya by Manuel Morao, and Sabicas's farruca 'Punta y Tacón', performed by Santiago Lara. The performance also features an original transcription created by both artists of the famous zapateado by virtuoso violinist Pablo de Sarasate.

🎶 Two masters of Jerez flamenco

Mercedes Ruiz and Santiago Lara channel years of collaboration into an evocative show that explores the expressive power of flamenco while honoring its foundational figures.

✨ An exceptional flamenco guitar and dance evening at D8 Sorkuntza Faktoria.
