📖 Contemporary repertoire and modern creation

This program synthesizes SIGMA Project's artistic identity by pairing works by Basque composers with leading international voices of the musical avant-garde. The concert balances diverse sonic languages, opening with the expressive freedom of Domínguez's Taqsim and the in-depth timbral exploration in Esnaola's Zurrumurru.

The performance also embraces the physical intensity of Czernowin's Undersongs and the dramatic contrasts of Arias in Milk split on a stone. Additionally, Shaw's Entr’acte contributes a post-minimalist color palette to a repertoire crafted to stretch the ensemble's expressive boundaries.

🎷 SIGMA Project and the Musikagileak circuit

SIGMA Project features Andrés Gomis (soprano and sopranino saxophones), Ángel Soria (alto saxophone), Alberto Chaves (tenor and bass saxophones), and Josetxo Silguero (baritone saxophone). This performance highlights the ensemble's ongoing mission to foster contemporary artistic development in vanguard musical settings.
