The Dantzaldia festival celebrates its 27th edition, bringing together renowned companies and performers from the Canary Islands, Portugal, Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, Madrid, and the Basque Country.

📖 Contemporary dance programme

The festival opens with Carmen Fumero at Sala Rekalde presenting «A ojo». It continues with Magda & Miguel F and the Spanish premiere of «Não tenho terra nos sapatos» at La Fundición, Thomas Noone Dance with «Impostor» at Barakaldo Antzokia, and La Intrusa with «Este himno llevará la palabra euforia» at Azkuna Zentroa-Alhóndiga Bilbao.

The calendar also features the screening of «La Carn» by Joan Porcel with Lluís Garau at Multicines 7, Marco Flores's «Cante, guitarra y baile» and a masterclass at the Guggenheim Bilbao Museum and Andoni Aresti Landa Dance School, the community dance piece «Laberintos» at Bizkaia Aretoa, and three short pieces by Fabian Thomé, Alejandro Moya, and Federica Porello & Daniel Claret at the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum.
