📖 A moving story about friendship
The story unfolds in the early 1960s inside the humble auditorium of a New York public high school. There, successful lawyer Hans Schwartz and his cousin Sarah, a brilliant violinist, selflessly lead a small youth choir.
One morning, Hans receives a letter from a German historian who discovered a sealed envelope addressed to him in the archives of the aristocratic Hohenfels family. Count Konradin Hohenfels had once urged his father to deliver this letter to Hans, a wish that went unfulfilled. More than twenty years after the rise of Nazism shattered their teenage friendship and forced Hans into exile in the United States, the past resurfaces to bring an unexpected reunion.
🎭 Artistic team and stage production
The cast features Kepa Errasti, Kimetz Etxabe, and Maite Larburu, who also performs the production's original score live. The stage design is by Fernando Bernués, lighting design by David Bernués, costumes by Ana Turrillas, and production by Paola Eguibar.
✨ An unmissable theater premiere exploring bonds that transcend time.
