📖 A century-long chronicle between laughter and memories
The production offers a perspective full of wit and nostalgia on an industrial Basque Country that has vanished. Drawing inspiration from classics such as Spielberg's Hook, Labyrinth, and Dickens' A Christmas Carol, the show serves as an echo of all these stories while creating something entirely distinct, honoring working-class neighborhoods and docks.
Across the performance, two actors trace one hundred years of a Basque family, transforming into multiple familiar characters amidst polluted estuaries, street graffiti, traditional songs, and political tensions.
🎭 Creative and artistic team
Actors Asier Hormaza and Lander Otaola take the stage under the direction of Ramón Ibarra. The show also features original music by Iñaki Maruri, sound design by Oizeder Mayo, and visual work by Xabi Albizu and KOA films.
✨ A touching and spirited theatrical premiere celebrating Bilbao's past.
