📖 Biographic tribute to a vital poet
Narrating the life of Miguel Hernández is an exploration of a figure who broke boundaries and defied standards in both literature and everyday life. Stepping away from the myths of the tragic martyr or simple shepherd-poet, the performance seeks to depict him in his natural essence, free of legends. Though he died at just 31 years of age, his twelve years of writing produced four thousand pages of remarkable literature during years shaped by the Republic, war, and Francoist prisons.
The staging embraces a multidisciplinary format where spoken poetry and theatre merge with live music, expressive contemporary dance, and documentary video projections.
🎭 Multidisciplinary team led by Pep Tosar
The dramaturgy is written by Pep Tosar and Evelyn Arévalo, who also perform on stage. Music composition, arrangements, and musical direction are led by Carles Dénia on vocals, joined by Marc López on guitar and Èlia Bastida on violin and saxophone. Choreography and dance are created by Andrés Corchero, completing an artistic collaboration backed by meticulous stage, lighting, and documentary design.
✨ A singular stage performance honoring the enduring poetic voice of Miguel Hernández.
